We offer a wide range of MDEQ certified analysis for your drinking water. The EPA recommends that private well water be tested once a year for pH, Bacteria, Nitrates, TDS and any other contaminates found in your area as suggested by your local health department. The Health Department suggests 3 common tests to determine water quality: bacteria, nitrate and arsenic. If you have specific concerns and/or require advice, please contact your local health department for guidance. For Livingston County call (517)546-9858. Click here for a link to Livingston County's Water Quality webpage. Containers can be picked up and samples dropped off any time Monday-Thursday from 8:30 to 4:30pm. Payment is due upon receipt of samples. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Checks or Cash.

HEALTH RELATED CONTAMINANTS - Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) is the highest level of a contaminant that is allowed in drinking water. MCLs are enforceable standards. All units in micrograms per liter (ug/L) which is equivalent to parts per billion. Total Coliform is not a health threat in itself; it is used to indicate whether other potentially harmful bacteria may be present.
