Inorganic Facts

The following soil analyses require an ASTM neutral leach: Acetate, Acetic Acid, Alkalinity (total, bicarbonate, carbonate, hydroxide), Bromide, Chloride, Conductivity, Fluoride, Nitrate, Nitrite, Phosphate-ortho, Resistivity, Silica, Sulfate, and Sulfite.

Hydrogen Sulfide requires: Conductivity, pH, and total Sulfide.  Sample containers required are a 500 ml HDPE unpreserved, and a 250 ml HDPE ZnAc NaOH preserved

Available Anions by IC: Chloride, Fluoride, Nitrate, Nitrite and Sulfate

SPLP stands for Synthetic Precipitation Leaching Procedure.  This is a "leach" procedure only.  Don't forget to specify your analysis...

TCLP refers to Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure.  This is a "leach" procedure only.  Don't forget to specify your analysis.

Halide Analyses:  TX=Total Halides and can be run on water, oil or soil.  TOX=Total Organic Halides and can be run on water only. EOX=Extractable Organic Halides can be run on soil or water.

TIN consists of Nitrate, Nitrite an Ammonia

TON consists of TKN and Ammonia

TN consists of TKN and TIN

Volatile Content analysis includes: Water Content, Density, Volatile Content, Weight Solid, Volume Solid
